I've had the pleasure of sharing the stage with these fine Italian gentlemen last year when they invited me to perform with them at the SILE and Novara Jazz Festivals in Italy.

These stellar players, Nicola Fazzini saxophone and Alessandro Fedrigo bass/effects, bring a vast creative vocabulary full of fluid melodic lines, driving rhythms, and fire to this inter-continental collaboration. They've got their own label, Nusica.org, on which they've recorded a fantastic CD with NYC's Amir ElSaffar.

"Never less than excellent" (Exclaim!), clarinetist François Houle possesses an astonishing range of extended techniques and stratospheric melodicism, while Skye Brooks is one of Vancouver’s most inventive and propulsive drummers.
