I’ll be back at The Banff Centre for Arts Creativity for a week working with composer Brian Garbet’s multi-media piece on the Windsor Hum. This has been a very amazing collaboration, exploring all facets of clarinet techniques, related notation approaches, and recording. The goal is to develop a new work that applies some of the techniques I’ve been researching and developing for decades. Brian’s work is scheduled for premiere during the 20120-21 season in Calgary, with subsequent tour of Canada and Europe.

While in Banff I plan on catching up on practicing, composing, and relaxing as much as possible!
