A fixture in Toronto’s creative scene for nearly two decades, drummer Joe Sorbara is equally comfortable playing jazz, free improv, indie-rock, and chamber music…but most at home when playing them all at once. His Vancouver-based quartet with guitarist Jared Burrows, clarinetist François Houle, and bassist James Meger play Sorbara originals, tunes by Ken Aldcroft and Kenny Wheeler, and selections from the Great American Songbook.
